Collective Membership

What is Collective Membership?

Collective membership of ٸ is open to national and regional associations recognized by the ٸ Executive Committee as being representative of political science in their respective countries or regions. Associations must be open to all, regardless of academic, gender or social status, on a membership basis, and represent most regions and universities of their respective countries or groups of countries within a region.

Each collective member is represented on ٸ’s central governing organ, the ٸ Council, by one, two or three members. The ٸ Council lays down broad policy guidelines for the Association and elects the ٸ Executive Committee, which is charged with responsibility for the conduct of the affairs of ٸ between congresses.

Collective members of ٸ pay an annual contribution fee based on a table of payments approved by the ٸ Council.
